HomeMy WebLinkAboutR14-040 Mental Health Awareness Month Commissioner P moved adoption Of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION No. 2014 016 RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING MAY AS NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH WHEREAS, addressing the complex mental health needs of children, youth, adults and families today is fundamental to the future of Eagle County, Colorado; and WHEREAS, the need for comprehensive, coordinated mental health services for children, youth, adults and families places upon our community a critical responsibility; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate that a day should be set apart each year for the direction of our thoughts toward our citizens' mental health and well-being; and WHEREAS, Eagle County, through its unique approach to serving children and adults, is effectively caring for the mental health needs of children, youth, adults and families in our community; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, May be proclaimed as National Mental Health Awareness Month in the County of Eagle, State of Colorado. //remainder of page intentionally left blank// MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 20th day of May, 2014.
