BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2014- U U
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS,Resolution No. 96-22 created the Eagle County Regional Transportation
Authority("ECO")and provided for its duties and powers; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 appointed the various members to the ECO Board;
and
WHEREAS,the ECO bylaws provide that vacancies on the Board be filled by Town
of Vail nomination with approval by the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners (the
"Board"); and
WHEREAS,the Town of Vail has nominated Dave Chapin as the regular member. A
copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
WHEREAS, the Town of Vail has nominated Jenn Bruno as the alternate member. A
copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT Dave Chapin be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as the regular member for the Town of Vail. Said term to expire on
February 28,2017.
THAT,Jenn Bruno be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as the alternate member for the Town of Vail. Said term to expire on
February 28, 2017.
THAT,the foregoing appointments and designations do not constitute obligations of
the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for
the respective terms of appointment as specified herein below,the County by and through the
Board,having the authority in its sole discretion to change, add or abolish such appointment and
designations and to fill vacancies as it sees fit.
THAT,the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the t'(6 day of 144-44.4...1-1-
2014.
