BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2000
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE ROAD & BRIDGE DIRECTOR
TO DISPOSE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY
OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
WHEREAS, C.R.S. 30- 11- 101(1)(c) and (e) , and C.R.S. 30-11 -
107(1)(a) and (e), empower the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter referred to as
the "Board ") to make such orders concerning the personal property
of Eagle County as may be deemed conducive to the interests of the
inhabitants;'and
WHEREAS, the Road & Bridge Department (Landfill) desires to
dispose of certain personal property owned by Eagle County for the
reason that the intended purpose and use of the personal property
by the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, no longer exists; and
WHEREAS, the personal property to be disposed of is described
on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Road & Bridge Department seeks
authority from the Board of County Commissioners to take the
necessary steps to dispose of said personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous to designate the Director of
the Road & Bridge Department as its authorized representative in
this matter and authorizes him to take whatever steps are
reasonable and in the best interest of Eagle County to dispose of
said personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby authorizes the Director of the Road &
Bridge Department to take whatever steps are reasonable and in the
best interest of Eagle County to dispose of said personal
property.

THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare of the citizenry of the County of Eagle, State
of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County ofEagle, Stat of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the a _ day 2000.

SCALE DESCRIPTION
1 -ea Cardinal Model 3030 -60 -PR 60'x 10' steel deck self contained heavy duty double link
suspension mechanical portable motor truck scale. capacity 60 tons. Scale height is 38" and '
consists of two 30' units designed to be connected together with a tandem connection pipe.
Scale is presently in pit and will be sold in place.
Purchaser will be responsible for removal of scale from pit.
There is no weighbeam or recent manufacture indicator with scale.
One 30' section was built in January of 1984. Asset No. 3374 S/N 55190
The other 30' section was built in August of 1994. Asset No. 6435
