COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF 11
RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 1 1 Z'
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANY OF THE EAGLE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE ACQUISITION AND
PRESERVATION OF THE GLASSIER RANCH
WHEREAS, on August 6, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County,
Colorado ("Board") approved the allocation of funds necessary to acquire and permanently
preserve the Glassier Ranch(hereinafter"Property); and
WHEREAS, a partnership between Eagle County and Pitkin County has also been
formalized by which Pitkin County will own the Property and Eagle County will accept a
conservation easement; and
WHEREAS,in anticipation of closing and preservation of the Property, the Board
desires to grant any of the Eagle County Commissioners the authority to execute all documents
associated with or necessary for the preservation of the Property and grant requirements all as
determined in Eagle County's sole discretion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF
COLORADO:
THAT, Eagle County has the authority and desires to accept a conservation easement on
the Property; and
THAT,the Board authorizes any Commissioner to execute on its behalf any and all
necessary documents, instruments, papers or other forms necessary to permanently preserve and
conserve the Property contemplated herein at such time as any closing issues and potential grant
requirements are satisfied as determined by Eagle County, Colorado in its sole discretion.
THAT,the Board of County Commissioners finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held this I ci day of NOV, 2013.
