of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96 -22 created the Eagle County Regional Transportation
Authority ( "ECO ") and provided for its duties and powers; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96 -22 appointed the various members to the ECO Board;
and
WHEREAS, the ECO bylaws provide that vacancies on the Board be filled by Town
nomination with Commissioner approval; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Vail has nominated Kevin Foley as the regular member. A
copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
WHEREAS, the Town of Vail has nominated Ludwig Kurz as the alternate member. A
copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Kevin Foley be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as the regular member for the Town of Vail. Said term to expire on
February 28, 2016.
THAT, Ludwig Kurz be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional
Transportation Authority as the alternate member for the Town of Vail. Said term to expire on
February 28 , 2016.
THAT, the following appointments do not constitute obligations of the County of Eagle
or the Board, and the County is not legally bound for the respective terms of appointment as
specified herein below, the County having the authority in its sole discretion to change, add or
abolish such appointment and to fill vacancies as it sees fit.
THAT, the board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
