HomeMy WebLinkAboutR13-019 Rural Resort Regional Workforce Investment Board Appointments Commissioner t moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION No. 2013 - 01 4 1 A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS TO THE RURAL RESORT REGIONAL WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD WHEREAS, Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin and Summit counties have previously agreed to be the Rural Resort Workforce Region for local service delivery, planning and administrative purposes of the One -Stop system; and WHEREAS, the counties identified above have previously established the Rural Resort Regional Workforce Investment Board; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the counties to annually appoint members and Local Elected Officials to the Rural Resort Workforce Investment Board to ensure that the responsibilities outlined in the Rural Resort Investment Board's Plan are carried out; and to appoint a Chief Elected Official for the Region, and to identify a provider of One -Stop Services, and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the following named individuals are hereby appointed to serve on the Rural Resort Region Workforce Investment Board for 2013, in addition to any other members that may need to be appointed by the Board itself during 2013.
