COUNTY OF EAGLE STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO 2012- /
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENT OF
PATRICIA HAMMON AS EAGLE COUNTY'S
VETERANS SERVICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, Colorado Revised Statute § 28 -5 -801 mandates that the board of county
commissioners of each county in the state appoint a veterans service officer for such county on such terms
and conditions as each county may determine are appropriate; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County has determined that Patricia Hammon is a person duly qualified to
hold appointment by the County as its Veterans Service Officer; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County desires to appoint Patricia Hammon as Eagle County's Veterans
Service Officer; and
WHEREAS, Patricia Hammon has agreed to accept the appointment as Eagle County's Veterans
Service Officer; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle
County, Colorado,
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners hereby appoints and confirms Patricia Hammon as its
Veterans Service Officer to serve in such capacity on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine
are appropriate; and
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners finds determines and declares that this Resolution is
necessary for the public health safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the J3oard of County Commissioners of the County
of Eagle, State of Colorado at its regular meeting held the IV day of December 2012.
