BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2011-
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting of April 25, 2011, the Eagle County Fair Board
(hereinafter the "Fair Board "), approved the reappointment of two Fair Board members and the
nominations of two new Fair Board members (see Exhibit A) to fill current vacancies for
recommendation to the Eagle County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (herein after "the Board "), desires to ratify the recommendations of the Fair Board and to
make appointments of the same; and
WHEREAS, Rachel Overlease- Gerlach, has resigned from the Fair Board and the Fair
Board recommends Katie Vernon to fill the remainder of that term.
WHEREAS, the Fair Board recommends Megan Ehrenburg to fill the remainder of the
term previously held by Kris Whittaker.
WHEREAS, Mary Kerst's term expired December 31, 2010 and the Fair Board wishes to
reappoint her to the Fair Board for another four (4) year term.
WHEREAS, Karen Madden's term expired December 31, 2010 and the Fair Board wishes
to reappoint her to the Fair Board for another four (4) year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Katie Vernon is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as the regular
member replacing Rachel Overlease- Gerlach, said term to expire on December 31, 2012.
THAT, Megan Ehrenburg is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as the
regular member replacing Kris Whittaker, said term to expire on December 31, 2014.
THAT, Mary Kerst is hereby reappointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as a regular
member, said term to expire on December 31, 2014.
THAT, Karen Madden is hereby reappointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as a regular
member, said term to expire on December 31, 2014.
THAT, the foregoing appointments and designations do not constitute contractual
obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally °-
bound for the respective terms of appointment as specified herein below, the County, by and
through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such
appointments and designations and to fill vacancies as it see fit.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the ( day off/107 , 2011.
