HomeMy WebLinkAboutR11-042 Roaring Fork Valley Planning Commission Appointments EAGLE COUNTY, CO 201108484 TEAK J SIMONTON J Pgs: 2 02:27:12PM 05/11/2011 REC: $0.00 DOC: $ 111 1 11 1 11 11111111 1111 1 1 11 Commissioner moved adoption of the following Resolution: • BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO 2011- RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE ROARING FORK VALLEY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 30 -28 -103, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Board "), is authorized to make appointments to the Roaring Fork Valley Regional Planning Commission. WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do not constitute contractual obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and Board are not legally bound for the respective terms of appointment of designation as specified herein below, the County, by and through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, • or abolish such appointments and designations and to fill vacancies as it sees fit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the Board hereby appoints and confirms the following people to serve as members of the Roaring Fork Valley Regional Planning Commission for the term set to expire on March 31, 2014. Stephen Chase (Regular Member) Temple Glassier (Regular Member) Jay Leavitt (Regular Member) Kelly McKenney (Regular Member) THAT, the Board hereby appoints and confirms the following people to serve as members of the Roaring Fork Valley Regional. Planning Commission for the term set to expire on March 31, 2012. Nicole Levesque (Associate Member) Ken Ransford (Associate Member) 1 Jacque Whitsitt (Associate Member) THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
