Home My WebLink AboutR10-128 Planning Commission Appointments Commissioner J !`t moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO 2010 -- y I U 0 RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE EAGLE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 30 -28 -103, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Board "), is authorized to make appointments to the Eagle County Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do not constitute contractual obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and Board are not legally bound for the respective terms of appointment of designation as specified herein below, the County, by and through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such appointments and designations and to fill vacancies as it sees fit; and WHEREAS, current Regular Member Doug DeChant has advised the Board that his work schedule for the foreseeable future may prelude his regular attendance at Planning Commission meetings; and WHEREAS, the senior current Associate Member of the Planning Commission is Vern Bock. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the Board hereby appoints and confirms the following person to serve as a member of the Eagle County Planning Commission for the term set to expire in March, 2013. Vern Brock (Regular Member) THAT, the Board hereby appoints and confirms the following person to serve as a member of the Eagle County Planning Commission for the term set to expire in March, 2011. Douglas DeChant (Associate Member) THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
