HomeMy WebLinkAboutR10-112 Distributing Revenues from County Forest Reserve Fund, Fiscal 2009 Commissioner moved adoption of the ollowing R olution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 2010- / ( TRANSFERRING AND DISTRIBUTING REVENUES FROM THE COUNTY FOREST RESERVE FUND, FISCAL YEAR 2009 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Board "), has received the sum of $498,251.19 for Fiscal Year 2009 pursuant provisions g ursuant to the rovisions of the Act of Congress of May 23, 1908, relating to receipts from National Forests; and WHEREAS, the Treasurer of Eagle County has placed said revenues in a special County fund designated as the "Forest Reserve Fund"; and WHEREAS, the Board is directed by C.R.S. §30 -29 -101 to allocate the money received from the State Treasurer pursuant to the provisions of said statute to the School Districts in Eagle County; and WHEREAS, the County desires to allocate 100% of the Forest Reserve Fund to the School Districts in Eagle County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT the Treasurer is requested and directed to allocate one hundred percent (100 %) of said $498,251.19 to each of the public school districts in Eagle County, as follows: $418,481.17 to the RE -50J public school district in Eagle County, and $79,620.54 to the Roaring Fork RE -1 public school district, and $149.48 to the West Grand District 1 public school district. THAT the County Budget Officer is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to the Eagle County Treasurer and any other designated employees of Eagle County whose duties include the transfer of funds. THAT the County Budget Officer is further directed to deliver an original or certified copy of this Resolution to the Division of Local Governments, State of Colorado.
