RESOLUTION N0.2010- V ~~
RESOLUTION APPOINTING REFEREES FOR THE
2010 COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 39-8-102(2)(1), C.R.S., the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, acting in its capacity as the
Eagle County Board of Equalization (hereinafter "Board"), has the authority to appoint
independent referees who are experienced in property valuation to conduct hearings on behalf of
the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of appointing one (1) hearing referee to sit for the
2010 assessment appeal hearings and make findings and submit recommendations to the Board
for its final action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, acting in its
capacity as the Eagle County Board of Equalization:
THAT, the Board hereby appoints Joan K. McMullen to sit as its referee for the 2010
session of the County Board of Equalization.
THAT, said referee shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed with or
without good cause shown.
THAT, each referee shall avoid any appearance of impropriety and shall disqualify
himself or herself if he or she has any close and/or direct relationship with the matter being
heard.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado (sitting as the Board of Equalization) at its regular meeting
