BOARD O COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2010-~~
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting o ~ l"7 , 2010, the Eagle County Fair Board
(hereinafter the "Fair Board"), recommended e nomination. of two new Fair Board members to
the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (herein after "the
Board"} to till. current vacancies;
WHEREAS, the Board desires to ratify the recommnnc}alioris oft}ze Farr Board and to
make appointments to the same; and
WHEREAS, the Fair .Board recommends far appointment Dave Ortiz and Ernie
Bearden as new regular members of the Fair Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Ernie Bearden is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as a regular
member replacing Dudley Irwin. Said term to expire on December 31, 2012.
THAT, Dave Ortiz is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Fair Board as a regular
member replacing Jeff Matthews. Said term tc~ expire on December 31, 2012.
THAT, the foregoing appointments and. designations do not constitute contractual
obligations of the Caunty of Eagle nor of the Baard.,, and the County and the Board are not legally
bound for the respective terms of appointment as specified herein below, the County, by and through
the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such appointments
and designations and to fill vacancies as it see fit.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 'day o, 2010.
