Resolution No. 2009- D (� 15
IN RE: PRESENTATION OF REPORTS OF ASSESSOR
OF VALUATION FOR ASSESSMENT FOR TAXABLE REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY IN EAGLE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado, organized
and convened as the Eagle County Board of Equalization for the purposes of adjusting,
equalizing, raising or lowering the valuation for assessment of real and personal property within
this county, fixed and made by the County Assessor for the year 2009; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. § 39 -8- 105(1), the assessor shall report the valuation for
assessment of all taxable real property in the county to the County Board of Equalization, and
shall submit a list of all persons who have appeared before him to present objections or protests
concerning real property and his action in each case; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 39 -8- 105(2), the assessor shall report the valuation of all
taxable personal property in the county and shall note any valuations for assessment of taxable
personal property in the county and shall note any valuations for assessment of portable or
moveable equipment which have been apportioned pursuant to the provisions of section 39 -5-
113, C.R.S. and shall submit a list of all persons in the county who have failed to return any
schedules and shall report his action in each case, and shall submit a list of persons who have
appeared before him to present objections or protests and his action in each case.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Eagle County, Colorado, acting as the Board of Equalization:
THAT, the Assessor hereby submits the report of the valuation for assessment of all
taxable real property in the county and a list of all persons who have appeared before him to
present objections or protests concerning real property and his action in each case, attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
THAT, the Assessor hereby submits the report of the valuation of all taxable personal
property in the county noting valuations for assessment of portable or moveable equipment
which have been apportioned pursuant to the provisions of section 39 -5 -113, C.R.S. and submits
a list of all persons in the county who have failed to return any schedules and reported his action
in each case, and submits a list of persons who have appeared before him to present objections or
protests and his action in each case, attached hereto as Exhibit `B" and incorporated herein by
reference.
THAT, the Board hereby accepts the reports and lists prepared by the Assessor attached
hereto as Exhibits "A" and `B."
MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, in its capacity as the County Board of Equalization, at its
regular meeting held this day of July, 2009.
