BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2009- VU
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITIZENS' OPEN
SPACE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on November 5, 2002, the voters of Eagle County approved County
Ballot Referendum 1H which provides for an increase in county taxes, referred to as the Open
Space Tax, to establish earmarked funding for the purpose of acquiring, maintaining, or
permanently preserving Open Space in Eagle County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2003-97, restated and amended by
Resolution 2004-015 (hereinafter referred to as "Resolution No. 2004-015"), the Eagle County
Open Space Program was established to make recommendations to the Eagle County Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado on any and all matters
pertaining to the Eagle County Open Space Program; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-015, the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter referred to as the "Board")
is authorized to make appointments to the Eagle County Citizens' Open Space Advisory
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do not constitute
contractual obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board
are not legally bound for the respective terms of appointment of designation as specified herein
below. The County, by and through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, may
change, add, or abolish such appointments and designations, and fill vacancies as it sees fit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, based on selection of the below-identified persons to serve as the
representatives of the below-designated entities, the Board of County Commissioners hereby
appoints and confirms the following person to serve as a member of the Eagle County Citizens'
Open Space Advisory Committee for the term set to expire as indicated, or to continue until
his/her re-appointment or until his/her replacement has been duly appointed:

THEREFORE, the Board of County Commissioners finds, determines and
declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the ~ day of
January 2009.
