BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2004 - O~ 3
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE'.
EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 created the Eagle County Regional Transportation
Authority ("ECO") and provided for its duties and powers; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 appointed the various members to the ECO Board;
and
WHEREAS, Jim Kleckner has resigned as the representative from the Town of Minturn;
and
WHEREAS, Alan D. Canning has resigned as the alternate representative from the Town
of Minturn; and
WHEREAS, the ECO bylaws provide that vacancies on the Board be filled by Town
nomination with Commissioner approval; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Minturn has nominated Councilman George Brodin as the new
representative for the Town of Minturn and Ann K. Capela as alternate representative for the
Town of Minturn. A copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Councilman George Brodin be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County
Regional Transportation Authority as the representative for the Town of Minturn and Ann K.
Capela as alternate representative for the Town of Minturn. Said term to expire on the last day
of February 2007.
THAT, the board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County C~mmiss rs of the

regularly scheduled Council meeting on Apri121, 2004 unanimously approved the appointment of
Councilman George Brodin to the Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority and Town
Manager, Ann K. Capela the Alternate.
