COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2004- ~~`" l
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES
FOR THE PRECINCTS OF
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
WHEREAS, Eagle County, Colorado ("County") is a political subdivision of the State
of Colorado ("State"}, duly organized and existing pursuant to the laws and the Constitution of
the State; and
WHEREAS, the county clerk and recorder, subject to the approval of the board of
county commissioners (hereinafter "Board") shall designate the place for each precinct at which
elections are to be held pursuant to Section 1-5-101, C.R.S.; and
WHEREAS, no later than ninety (90) days prior to a coordinated election, the county
clerk and recorder shall assure that one polling place be designated to allow an individual elector
to vote for all ballot issues, ballot questions, and candidates voted on the same date pursuant to
Section 1-5-102.5; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-5-102.5(2), for coordinated elections, the county
clerk and recorder may combine precincts and polling places; and
WHEREAS, approval has been received from the responsible parties for the use of the
individual facilities; and
WHEREAS, a list of the designated polling places is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the county clerk and recorder hereby designates the polling places for Eagle
County as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
THAT, the Board has inspected the list of designated polling places (Exhibit "A") and
hereby approves the same.
THAT, the Board hereby requests that the list of designated polling places (Exhibit "A")
be made available for inspection in the office of the clerk and recorder.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, this ~~day of , 2004.
