adoption of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2004 -
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE FILING OF APPLICATION FOR
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE AND ENVIORNMENTAL CHECKLIST IN CONNECTION WITH
THE EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Eagle County, Colorado ("County") is a political subdivision of the State of
Colorado duly organized and existing pursuant to the laws and the Constitution of the State; and
WHEREAS, the County presently owns and operates the Eagle County Regional
Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners wish to receive funding
for the purchase of an ARFF vehicle, a SRE vehicle and funding for apron rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the completion of an Application for Federal Assistance (application
number 3-08-0020-36) and a Northwest Mountain Region Airports Division Environmental
Checklist are necessary to request funding; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wish to approve application 3-08-
0020-36 and the Northwest Mountain Regions Airports Division Environmental Checklist and
ratify any action taken to date in connection with these applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby approves and ratifies in all respects the filing of the
Application for Federal Assistance (3-08-0020-36) and the Northwest Mountain Regions
Airports Division Environmental Checklist; and
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
