HomeMy WebLinkAboutR04-001 Colorado River Water Conservation District AppointmentsCommissioner ~ .~12C moved adoption oft a following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION N0.2004- (~`/' RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE COLORADO RIVER WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT WHEREAS, pursuant to §37-46-104, C.R.S. the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Board") shall make an appointment to the Colorado River Water Conservation District; and WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do not constitute contractual obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for the respective terms of appointment of designation as specified hereinbelow, the County, by and through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such appointments and designations and to fill vacancies as it sees fit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, Tom C. Stone, be and is hereby appointed Eagle County's representative to the Colorado River Water Conservation District, for a term commencing on January 20, 2004 and ending the first regular meeting day of fiscal year 2007. THAT the Board finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado. -. MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the o~y day of January, 2004. Commissioner NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT TO COLORADO RIVER WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS This is to certify that the Board of Cou~ity Commissioners of Eagle County has appointed as Director of the Colorado River Water Conservation District for a term ending in January 2007, beginning with the first quarterly meeting of the Board of Directors of said Colorado River Water Conservation District in 2004. has been a resident of Eagle County for at least two years preceding the date of his/her appointment and is a freeholder who has paid taxes on real property in Eagle County during the preceding year.
