BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 98 -
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING
BRAD HIGGINS
AS THE
DIRECTOR FOR THE EAGLE COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
EFFECTIVE JUNE 18, 1998
WHEREAS, Don Fessler, Supervisor of the Eagle County Road and
Bridge Department has announced his retirement, effective June 18,
1998; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of §43-2-111(1), C.R.S.,
the Eagle County Board of Commissioners ( "Board ") is authorized
to appoint a road supervisor for all roads constituting the county
road system; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of §43-2-111(1),
C.R.S., the Board desires to appoint Brad Higgins as the new
Supervisor for the Eagle County Road and Bridge Department,
effective June 18, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby acknowledges appreciation for the many
years of service to Eagle County by Don Fessler.
THAT, in accordance with the provisions of §43-2-111(1),
C.R.S., the Board hereby appoints Brad Higgins as the new
Supervisor for the Eagle County Road and Bridge Department,
effective June 18, 1998.
THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare of the citizenry of the County of Eagle, State
of Colorado.
