Commissioner moved adoption
of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO.
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS
TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, by Eagle County Resolution No. 95 -133, the Eagle
Board of County Commissioners (Board) established the Eagle County
Planning Commission and made regular and alternate appointments
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Resolution No. 95 -133 was to merge the
then existing Eagle and Colorado Valley Planning Commissions until
such times as cooperative agreements could be reached with other
governments to create Regional Planning Commissions; and
WHEREAS, the Board and the Town of Basalt have cooperated in
the formation of the Roaring Fork Valley Regional Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, as a consequence of the establishment of the Roaring
Fork Valley Regional Planning Commission the Board here desires to
make new appointments to the Eagle County Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the following persons be and are hereby appointed as
members of the Eagle County Planning Commission, with terms to
expire as indicated, or to continue until their replacements have
been duly appointed:
Regular Members Terms to expire first Board of County
Commissioner's meeting in the month of March of the year
indicated:
Arlene Stark Quenon 2002
Dan Seibel 2002
Ron Brave 2002
Alternate Members Terms to expire first Board of County
Commissioner's meeting in the month of March of the year
indicated:
John King 2000
Richard Brooks 2000
Chuck Powers 2000.
THAT, these appointments shall become effective upon approval
and signature of the Board.
THAT the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare
of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, this day of
