RESOLUTION NO. 99-~
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REGULAR PUBLIC MEETING DAYS FOR THE
EAGLB HOARD OF COUNTY COI~IlKISSIONSRS FOR Fiscal Year 1999
AND
ESTABLISHING DAYS AND OFFICE HOURS FOR COUNTY OFFICES
TO TRANSACT COUNTY BUSINESS FOR Fiscal Year 1999
AND
DESIGNATING LEGAL HOLIDAYS FOR Fiscal Year 1999
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30-10-303, C.R.S., the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado
("Board") desires to establish and publish a schedule of the
Board's regular meeting days for Fiscal Year 1999; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30-10-109, C.R.S., the Board
further desires to establish the days and office hours of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, for Fiscal Year 1999,
whereupoD all County offices shall be kept open for the
transaction of county business; and
WHEREAS, the Board further desires to establish legal
holidays for Fiscal Year 1999, during which all County offices
shall be closed; and• •
WHEREAS, the 1993 Personnel Policy, as amended, provides
that the Board determine on a year-by-year basis the legal
holidays for which County employees shall be paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
CONIIKISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby designates and adopts those dates
designated as holidays in the attached Exhibit "A" as County
legal holidays for Fiscal Year 1999, whereupon all County offices
shall be officially closed for the transaction of County
business.

THAT, the Board determines that said legal holidays be paid
holidays for eligible Eagle County employees.
THAT, except for said legal holidays, all County. offices
located in the County Seat of Eagle be kept open for the
transaction of County business Suring the hours of 5:00 a.m.
through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday of each respective
week in Fiscal Year 1999.
THAT, the Chairman of the Board or the County Administrator
is hereby delegated the authority to close all or part of the
offices of the County due to storm or other emergency. The
Chairman or Administrator shall use his best efforts to notify
the media of such closure.
THAT, notwithstanding the foregoing, all Clerks of the Court
and the Sheriff be subject at all times to the command of the
people, and shall at all hours, night and day, be prepared to
attend such duties as may reasonably be required by them.
THAT, the Board hereby establish and adopt the schedule of
the Board's regular public meeting days for Fiscal Year 1999 as
set forth on the attached Exhibit "B".
THAT, until further notice, such regular public meetings of
the Eoard be held in the Eagle County Room, Eagle County
Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado.
THAT, the Board may hold such special or emergency meetings
and adopt such publication procedures therefore as the public
interest may, in the opinion of the Board, require.
THAT, copies of Exhibit "A" and "B" be forthwith transmitted
for publication to all newspapers of general circulation in the
County of Eagle, Colorado, and appropriately posted at County
government buildings throughout the County.

TEAT; the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that
this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and
welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
