COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
Resolution No. 99 -E- 6
IN RE: EQUALIZING PROPERTY VALUATION
THROUGHOUT EAGLE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado,
organized and convened as the Eagle County Board of Equalization for the purposes of
adjusting, equalizing, raising or lowering the valuation for assessment of real and personal
property within this county, fixed and made by the County Assessor for the year 1999; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 39 -8 -102, the County Board of Equalization shall
review the valuations for assessment of all taxable property appearing in the assessment
roll of the county; correct any errors made by the County Assessor; and, whenever in its
judgment justice and right so require, it shall raise, lower, or adjust any valuation for
assessment appearing in the assessment roll to the end that all valuations for assessment
of property are just and equalized within the county; and
WHEREAS, with the concurrence of the Hearing Officer the Assessor desires to
adjust certain real and personal property that has not been previously appealed, for the
purpose of correcting errors and equalizing the neighboring lands, more specially
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Eagle County, Colorado, acting as the Board of Equalization:
THAT, the Board hereby enters orders with respect to the 1999 assessments of real
and /or personal property in accordance with the adjustments set forth in Exhibit "A."
THAT, the Board directs the Assessor to adjust the valuation as set forth in Exhibit
"A," and directs the County Clerk to notify those property owners whose values shall be
adjusted, as set forth in said Exhibit A, within five business days of the adoption of this
resolution.
THAT, the Board finds, determines, and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado.
MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, in its capacity as the County Board of Equalization, at
its regular meeting held this 16L&—d of August, 1999.

Honorable Board:
Pursuant to C.R.S. 39 -8 -102, the Eagle County Assessor is requesting value changes in the
following property for the assessment year 1999.
The schedules involved in this request, and the Assessors determination are as follow:
Sch # 41306 value decrease for the land of $390 and value increase for the improvement of
29.110 to land of $84.360 and improvement of $223.440, for a total value of 1307.800.
Sch # 41307 value decrease for the land of 280 and value increase for the improvement of
29.110 to land of $84.470 and improvement of $223,440 for a total value of $307,910.
Sch #41308 value decrease for the land of 390 and value increase for the improvement of
29.110 to land of 84.360 and improvement of 1223,440 for a total value of $307,800.
Sch # 41309 value decrease for the land of $4.090 and value increase for the improvement of
29.110 to land of $80.660 and improvement of $223.440 for a total value of 1304.100.
Reason for request: The suggested valuation increase is due to a data entry error. The land and
improvement value were inadvertently input incorrect in our records. In order to preserve
equality in this area of Avon, the Assessor asks that the value be increased as indicated above.

Pursuant to C.R.S. 39 -8 -102, the Eagle County Assessor is
requesting value changes in the following property for the
assessment year 1999.
The schedule involved in this request, and the Assessors
determination are as follow:
Sch# 32623 value increase for the land of $0 and improvement
of $ 0 to land of S 3.000 and improvement of $ 0 for a
total value of $ 3,000 .
Reason for request: The suggested valuation increase is due to an
error at the assessors level. This vacant parcel had a zero value
as it was originally owned by the Gypsum Meadows Homeowner's
Association. It was sold to Sheldon Wayne and Sharon Olson on
January 10, 1997 and should have been transferred at that time.
Since this parcel is part of the watershed for the Eagle County
Regional Airport and has zoning restrictions placed on it, a
minimal value of $3,000 and a contiguous classification to parcel
number 43486 is requested. In order to preserve equity in Gypsum,
the Assessor asks that the value be increased as indicated above.

Reason for request: The suggested valuation increase is due to an error in
the land valuation for 1999. As of January 1, 1999, this land had the
infrastructure in place. As a result, the value should have been based on
the indicated market value on a per site basis. Subdivider's discount has
been applied in order to establish the correct discounted value for 1999.
The old value indicated above represents the raw land value and the new
value indicates the building site value. Schedules 48193 and 48194 are
designated as open space and have been assigned a minimal value typical of
other open space parcels. In order to preserve equity in Cotton Ranch, the
Assessor asks that the value be increased as indicated above.
