COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2003'L~~
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
EAGLE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO EXECUTE A RADIO MONITORING AGREEMENT
FOR COUNTY-WIDE 800 MHz SYSTEM
WHEREAS ,Eagle County, Colorado ("Count}') is a political subdivision of the State of
Colorado ("State"), duly organized and existing pursuant to the laws and the Constitution of the
State; and
WHEREAS, the County presently owns and operates a county wide SOOMHz radio
system; and
WHEREAS, the radio system is presently maintained through a monitoring agreement
which will expire on December 31, 2003; and
WHEREAS, County staff is currently negotiating the terms of a new monitoring
agreement and anticipates that a new agreement will be submitted for County review and approval
by the end of 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT the Board hereby authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
to execute a radio monitoring agreement for county-wide 800 MHz system after review and
approval of such agreement by the County Attorney; and
THAT any final monitoring agreement executed pursuant to this Resolution shall be
brought before the Board of County Commissioners for ratification; and
THAT this Resolution is necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the people of
Eagle County, Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Co 'ssioners of the County
of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held thisday of 003.
