HomeMy WebLinkAboutR03-092 Appointments to the Eagle County Regional Transportation Authoritye. • Commissioner 9 moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION N0.03 - ©~~ CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE EAGLE COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 created the Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority ("ECO'~ and provided for its duties and powers; and and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-22 appointed the various members to the ECO Board; WHEREAS,. Robert Slagle has resigned as the representative from the Town of Red Cliff; and WHEREAS, the ECO bylaws provide that vacancies on the Board be filled by Town nomination with Commissioner approval; and WHEREAS, the Town of Red Cliff has nominated Guy Patterson as the new representative for the Town of Red Cliff. A copy of said nomination letter is attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, Guy Patterson be and is hereby appointed to the Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority as the representative for the Town of Red Cliff. Said term to expire on the last day of February 2006. HAT, the board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
