of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE 'OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION N0.2003
RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS
TO THE
BASALT LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 2490-108 (c), the legislative body of the respective
participating counties of the district shall appoint members to the library district board of trustees;
and
WHEREAS, Mary Roberts, appointed to fulfill Linda Crossland's term, has tendered her
resignation; and
WHEREAS, the Boazd of County Commissioners of the County ofEagle, State of Colorado
desires to makes the appointment of Maddie Simonet, M.D. for one of the Eagle County
representatives to the Basalt Librazy District Boazd of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Maddie Simonet, M.D. be and is hereby appointed as a Eagle County Representative
to the Basalt Library District Board of Trustees with a term to expire March 1, 2005.
THAT, a copy of this Resolution be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners ofthe
County of Pitkin, State of Colorado for their concurrence.
THAT, the Boazd of County Commissioners finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfaze of the citizens of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado.

MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the ,~ day of 2003.
