BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2007 - 05 t
CONCERNING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
CEDAR HILL CEMETERY ASSOCIATION DISTRICT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (hereinafter "Board ") is authorized by Section 30 -20 -803, C.R.S. to make
appointments to the Board of Directors for cemetery districts; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -20 -803, C.R.S. the term of office for a member of
the Board of Directors for a cemetery district shall be six (6) years; and
WHEREAS, the Cedar Hill Cemetery Association District Board has recommended the
appointment of Jennifer Wood to the Cedar Hill Cemetery Association District Board of
Directors; and
WHEREAS, the Cedar Hill Cemetery Association District Board has recommended the
appointment of Jennifer Wood to replace Loies Walker (letter of recommendation attached
hereto as Exhibit A); and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to make the aforementioned appointment to the Cedar
Hill Cemetery Association District Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the following appointment does not constitute a contractual obligation of
the County of Eagle nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for the
respective term of appointment as specified hereinbelow, the County, by and through the Board,
having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such appointment and to fill
vacancies as it sees fit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Jennifer Wood be and is hereby appointed to the Cedar Hill Cemetery
Association District Board of Directors for a six (6) year term, said term to expire July, 2013 or
until his/her successor has been appointed.
THAT, the Board finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the
public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, this day of , 2007.
