BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2007 - C\~L.\
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE BATTLE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL
PROSTART TEAM FOR CULINARY EXCELLENCE IN TAKING FIRST PLACE IN
THE NATIONAL PROSTART STUDENT INVITATIONAL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (hereinafter the "Board") acknowledges that four Battle Mountain High School
Students demonstrated exceptional skill and artistry in winning the National ProStart Student
Invitaional; and
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes that Ian King, Colby LeFevbre, Cam Lewis and Ryan
Walker displayed grace and discipline under the extreme pressure of national competition; and
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes that Eagle County is privileged to have among us
such talented and gifted future chefs; and
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes the importance to the community of the remarkable
accomplishments of our youth; and
WHEREAS, the Board commends this team on their hard-won title and wishes them
continued success in their pursuit of their craft; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that the Battle Mountain High
School ProStart Team be honored, encouraged and celebrated by families and communities
throughout Eagle County for their continued dedication to their art.

MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 15th day of May, 2007.
