COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 4` �?
APPROVAL OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT_- Wolf Creek Industries
FILE No. ZS- 205 -84
WHEREAS, Mike Blair for Wolf Creek did file an
application with the Eagle County Department of Community
Development on or about May 15, 1984 within
the Resource
Zone District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado, on June 27
, 1984 ; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits,
study of the Master Plan for the unincorporated areas of
Eagle County, comments of the Eagle County Department of
Community Development, comments of Public officials and
agencies, the recommendation of the Eagle County Planning
Commission, and comments from all interested parties, the
Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State
of Colorado, finds as follows:
1. That proper publication and public notice was
provided as required by law for the hearing before the
Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.
2. That the proposed special use conforms to the
requirements of Section 2.09 of the Eagle County Land Use
Regulations.
3. That the proposed land use will be compatible
with existing uses in the area.
4. That for the above - stated and other reasons,
the proposed zoning is in the best interest of the health,
safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare
of the citizens of Eagle County.
NOBS', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado:
That the application-of Wolf Creek Industries
File No. ZS- 205 -84 , for approval of a special -use
of Sawmill, Caretaker's Unit and Retail Lumber Sales with-
in the Resource Zone District in the following described
unincorporated area of Eagle County be approved:
SEE ATTACHED "EXHIBIT A"
THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs the
Department of Community Development to provide a copy of
this Resolution to the applicant.
MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at
its meeting held the J9te day of 198<,
nunc pro tunc to the 27th, day of June, 1984.

For Wolf Creek Industries, Inc., Special Use Application, May, '84
A parcel of land located in the Lava and Vesuvius Placers, Section
4, Township 5 South, Range 86 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
Eagle County, Colorado, according to the Independent Resurvey of said
Township and Range as approved on June 20, 1922; said parcel being more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at Corner No. 5 of said Lava Placer, being identical to
Corner No. 2 of said Vesuvius Placer; thence along the Southerly Line
of said Vesuvius Placer, N. 84 10'00" W., 324.12 feet to a point on
the Northerly Right -of -Way Boundary of the Denver and Rio Grande Western
Railroad; thence along said boundary and an existing fence line the following
five (5) courses and distances:
1) N. 42 26'30" W. 142.60 feet
2) N. 57 17'20" W. 212.31 feet
3) N. 69 59'10" W. 390.65 feet
4) S. 77 26'20" W. 433.00 feet
5) S. 56 41'50" W. 182.87 feet
thence departing said Right -of -Way Boundary and existing fence line,
N. 17 00'00" E. 1260.22 feet to a point on the Southerly Right -of -Way
Boundary of U. S. Interstate 70; thence along said Boundary the following
