BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 84 - 3A
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW RATES FOR
THE EAGLE COUNTY LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO ( "Board ") has deemed it
appropriate to revise the rates at the Eagle County Landfill so
that they more nearly approximate the actual cost of operation
of the Landfill; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the bulk of the
revenue required for operating the Eagle County Landfill should
come from user fees rather than taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, as
follows:
1. The following rates are established for the use of
the Eagle County Landfill:
Compacted trash
Loose trash
Covered barrels
Uncovered load
Minimum charge per load
Septic waste
Screen sludge
Cake sludge
Car bodies (with title)
$7.50
per ton
$8.00
per ton
$1.00
each
$5.00
extra per load
$2.00
$8.00
per ton
$8.00
per ton
$8.00
per ton
$10.00
each

2. There shall be no charge to senior citizens (over
65 years) dumping their own domestic trash.
3. The Director of the Eagle County Department of
Public [,Works is authorized to waive landfill fees where he deems
it appropriate for community clean -up days or other civic
efforts.
4. No hazardous materials nor toxic waste shall be
accepted at any time at the Eagle County Landfill.
5. Septic waste shall be accepted at the discretion of
the Landfill manager when suitable areas are available for the
disposal of said septic waste.
6. The rates established by this Resolution shall
become effective July 1, 1984, and the previous rates set by the
Board shall be effective until that date.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its
regular meeting held the � day of June, 1984.
