Pursuant to the Guidelines and Regulations for Areas
and Activities of State Interest of the County of Eagle, State
of Colorado, 1980, as amended, heretofore adopted by the Board
of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, Colorado, the
Eagle County Permit Authority received an application from the
Upper Eagle Valley Sanitation District, County of Eagle, State
of Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant ", for a
permit to conduct the following activity of State Interest:
Major extensions of existing domestic water
and sewage treatment systems,
and the Eagle County Permit Authority hereby approves said
application.
This permit authorizes the Applicant:
1. To construct and develop the proposed major
extensions of its existing sewage treatment system as set forth
in the Applicant's application submitted to the Eagle County
Permit Authority on March 5, 1984, for the purpose of extending
sewage lines and service to the following subdivisions:
Arrowhead at Vail; Homestead; Brett Ranch; Berry Creek; Beaver
Creek; Edwards Village; Old Edwards Estate; Sage Flats; and
Reserve on the Eagle River, as the foregoing are more
particularly described in the respective final plats recorded
thereof in the real property records of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado. The aforementioned activity of State
Interest also includes the Squaw Creek wastewater treatment
facility presently constructed on the north side of the Eagle
River, approximately 1/4 mile upstream from Squaw Creek, in the
NW 1/4 of Section 36, Township 4 South, Range 82 West,
approximately two (2) miles west of Edwards, Colorado.
2. For an indefinite period of time; subject however,
upon an annual review by the Eagle County Permit Authority
pursuant to Section 1 -310 of the Guidelines and Regulations for
Areas and Activities of State Interest of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado, 1980, as amended.
3. In accordance with the plans and /or specifications
submitted by the Applicant as part of the subject application
and considered by the Eagle County Permit Authority on April 25,
1984; the testimony and other evidence presented on behalf of
the Applicant at the public hearing held April 25, 1984; and the
Guidelines and Regulations for Areas and Activities of State
Interest of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, 1980, as
amended, adopted by Eagle County for major extensions of
existing domestic water and sewage treatment systems.
4. On the condition that the Applicant proceeds in
conformity with all applicable federal and state statutes and
regulations as well as all applicable local land use controls
including, but not limited to, master plans, subdivision and
zoning regulations, building codes, and regulations pertaining
to construction work within a public right -of -way.
5. This permit is valid for use only by the Applicant
and may not be transferred. In the event that the Applicant
fails to take substantial steps to initiate the above
development or activity within twelve (12) months from the date
of this permit or, if such steps are taken, in the event the
Applicant fails to complete the development or activity with

reasonable diligence, this permit may be revoked by the Permit
Authority.
