BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 84---3L
ADDITION OF "DAY OR RESIDENT CAMP" AS A
SPECIAL USE WITHIN THE RESOURCE ZONE
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Section 2.07.10 of the Eagle County Land Use
Regulations, 1982, as amended ( "LUR "), empowers the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado
( "Board "), to add to the uses listed for a zoning district any
other similar use; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to amend Section
2.06.01(3)(d) of the LUR to add thereunder "day or resident
camp" as a special use within the Resource zone district; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds, determines and declares that
a day or resident camp is appropriate to the physiographic and
general environmental character of the Resource zone district;
does not create any more hazard to, or alteration of, the
natural environment than the minimum amount normally resulting
from other uses permitted in the Resource zone district; does
not create any more offensive noise, vibration, dust, heat,
smoke, odor, glare, or other objectionable influences or more
traffic hazards than the minimum amount normally resulting from
the other uses permitted in the Resource zone district; and is
compatible with the uses existing and permitted in the Resource
zone district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the land use "day or resident camp" is hereby
added as a special use within the Resource zone district,
Section 2.06.01(3)(d) of the LUR, pursuant to and in accordance
with Section 2.07.10 of the LUR.
THAT, at the first convenient opportunity, the Director
of the Eagle County Department of Community Development shall
add day or resident camp in the published text of the LUR as a
special use within the Resource zone district, with a notation
indicating that such addition was made in accordance with
Section 2.07.10 of the LUR.
THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public
health, safety and welfare of the citizenry of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its
regular meeting held the c=U day of July, 1984, nunc pro tunc
June 27, 1984.
