WHEREAS, the B r= of County Commissioners, of the County
of Eagle, State of Colo =c o, hereinafter referred to as the "Board,"
did on March 6, 1972, . 2solution pursuant to the Colorado Public
Airport Authority Act, e= --2)lish ... the Eagle County Airport
Authority; and
WHEREAS, the B= new desires to terminate said Authority; and
WHEREAS, Sectio= -4_1 -3- 104(6), C.R.S., 1973, as amended,
provides that any airport arority created pursuant to the provisions
of Article 3 of Title 41, C.R.S., 1973, as amended, shall cease to
exist upon the filing ;vim e Secretary of State of a certified
resolution of the Coun_y = e2esting the termination of an airport
authority; and
WHEREAS, the B,d deems it in the best interest of the County
to assume direct controls the Eagle County Airport and other
matters relating to ai= =i-s—zortation in the County pursuant to
Section 30 -11 -107 (1) (j) and Article 4 of Title 41, respectively,
C.R.S., 1973, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE, = IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COVMSSIONERS OF THE C0i2---- OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, THAT THE
FOLL(JRING RESOLUTION BE _,D IS HEREBY ADOPTED:
The Honorable ^ ary of State of Colorado is respectfully
requested to terminate t:ia status, existence, and authority of the
Eagle County Airport P_u =r y effective i=ediately.
The Board has cE= e--Tdned and finds that there exists no
outstanding bonds of the Eagle County Airport Authority.
The County is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this Resolution w-- the Colorado Secretary of State and to
take such other steps n� �sa_*y and appropriate to terminate the
existence of the Eagle Cam -ty Airport Authority.

The Board he � finds, determines, and declares that
this Resolution is for z e --.folic health, welfare, and safety of
the citizens of the Cou_ =.= of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ, A _ ', PTED, at a special meeting of the Board
of County Commissioners, :b -,mty of Eagle, State of Colorado held
on January 9, 1978.
