Description of Services The Services to be provided by Woolpert are identified in Exhibit A: Scope of Services to this Task Order, which is incorporated by this reference. Section 3. Compensation to Be Paid to Woolpert Compensation to be paid to Woolpert for providing the requested Services is identified in accordance with Exhibit B: Compensation of this Task Order, which is incorporated by this reference. Section 4. Schedule for Services The commencement date of this Task Order shall be upon execution of this Task Order. The services set forth in this Task Order shall be completed no later than December 31, 2025, unless terminated or extended as provided in the Master Professional Services Agreement or by mutual agreement in writing. (LAI) to analyze the current EGE exterior vehicular wayfinding signage for the airport’s on-property public roadways, curbsides, and parking lots. Additionally, exterior pedestrian wayfinding signage to and from the on-property terminal, parking and ground transportation areas are requested to be analyzed and included. LAI shall perform the work requested per the proposal outlined below: SCOPE OF SERVICES: 1.0 PHASE 1 – Wayfinding Analysis 1.01 Document with photographic images, the existing exterior public wayfinding signage conditions at EGE (note: general on-site photos captured by LAI in September 2024; supplemental Google Earth/photo information provided by EGE staff in January 2025). 1.02 Review all applicable EGE plans, destinations, reference material, and existing wayfinding signage conditions. 1.03 EGE to provide all applicable plans and reference materials to LAI prior to the project kick- off meeting. All applicable airport plans, including existing roadways, curbsides, parking, future roadways, and existing signage plans shall be provided by EGE in electronic format. 1.03.1 Included shall be all applicable existing architectural, engineering, traffic, signage plans, sign face layouts, airport branding standards/current graphics, locations, elevations, sections, placements, etc. for the EGE campus, roadways, and facilities. 1.04 Collaboration with EGE to identify key issues and explore resolutions: 1.04.1 Wayfinding signage requirements. 1.04.2 Basic wayfinding methodology and approach to address current and future requirements. 1.04.3 Current EGE signage and airport branding guidelines. Deliverable will be PowerPoint file. Hard copies will not be provided. 2.0 PHASE 2 – Wayfinding Concepts 2.01 Develop exterior wayfinding signage concepts for EGE based on Phase 1 materials and efforts. Scope and content include the following sign types: 2.01.1 Curb Areas – Pedestrian signage: • Walkway directionals to: ­ Short-term parking lots ­ Long-term parking lots ­ Rental car lots ­ Ground transportation lot(s) 2.01.2 Parking Areas – Vehicular signage: • Lot IDs (with consideration of potential digital area on face for status and/or pricing changes) 2.01.3 FBO Areas – Vehicular signage: • Directionals at east secondary airport property entrance • Reinforcement directionals (on-property circulation in front of FBO area) 2.01.4 North Property Area – Vehicular signage: • Only directionals on Hwy 6 at entrance area to ATC and National Guard base 2.02 The Wayfinding Concepts phase will provide a general conceptual “blueprint” for the updated wayfinding signage strategy and logic to be implemented. 2.02.1 It will show general high-level conceptual exterior wayfinding signage recommendations and solutions, including sign types, methodology and graphic elements. 2.02.2 Conceptual exterior wayfinding signage recommendations shall be done in a manner that considers future exterior wayfinding sign types that might be installed as part of the airport’s potential longer term plans. 2.02.3 The Wayfinding Concepts phase shall utilize the same typical pre-established pathways and circulation for wayfinding traffic used during Phase 1 and provide examples of locations using existing photos and quick/basic rough renderings of conceptual signage applied (i.e., before and after views) to discuss conceptual recommendations and acquire approval for Phase 3 efforts. Meetings - 1 Progress meeting: to coordinate with EGE - 1 Presentation to Stakeholders Deliverable The Wayfinding Concepts phase shall include the methodology and processes for exterior wayfinding signage implementation campus-wide at EGE. Deliverable will be a PowerPoint file. Hard copies will not be provided. - NOTE: Deliverable will only include one round of revisions at end of Phase 2. Any additional, staggered, secondary direction, or incomplete transmittals to LAI will result in additional fees. 3.0 PHASE 3 – Wayfinding Signage Standards and Guidelines 3.01 Create a set of Wayfinding Signage Standards and Guidelines. Scope and content will be based on Phases 1 and 2, and include the exterior wayfinding sign types listed in Phase 2 (above). 3.02 The Wayfinding Signage Standards and Guidelines is a document that shall provide the final specifics of the updated EGE exterior wayfinding system. It will provide all standards, guidelines, and design intent for visual consistency among wayfinding elements (graphics, sign types, etc.) It is the “how to” when designing and applying the updated EGE exterior wayfinding system and converts Phase 2’s concepts into final design form. 3.02.1 All wayfinding signage graphic standards, including typefaces, colors, arrows, symbols and terminology are included. 3.02.2 Wayfinding signage Design Intent drawings chapter with the following included: 3.02.2.1 Wayfinding sign family elements that will utilize a “kit-of-parts” approach. 3.02.2.2 Applicable in-scope exterior wayfinding signage and mounting types are included. 3.02.2.3 General Design Intent drawings of each in-scope sign type are included, including basic face layouts and general design intent fabrication/material callouts and specifications. 3.02.2.4 Exterior wayfinding Sign Location Plans by sign type, with sign type naming convention per LAI (TBD). 3.02.2.5 Message Schedule (with applicable text, symbols and arrows shown graphically for each included sign location). 3.02.3 Punch services are not currently included (TBD, if EGE would like to include). Meetings - 1 Progress meeting at 50% Draft - 1 Progress meeting at 100% - 1 Presentation to Stakeholders - EGE may request, in writing, additional meetings as deemed necessary. This will incur additional fees. Deliverables The Wayfinding Signage Standards and Guidelines shall include the final design/execution, graphic elements and sign types for all in-scope exterior wayfinding signage at EGE. Deliverable submitted in PDF 11x17 landscape format. Hard copies will not be provided. - NOTE: Phase 3 deliverables will include only one round of EGE reviews/comments and revisions at each of the 50% and 100% completion levels. Any additional, staggered, secondary direction, or incomplete transmittals to the LAI will result in additional fees. Additional Terms and Conditions: • Interior Terminal wayfinding signage is not in scope, but LAI recommends it be addressed eventually to align the design of both interior and exterior sign families. Additional interior Terminal wayfinding signage scope and fees can be provided upon request. Docusign Envelope ID: 9BE04613-F6BD-408F-863E-B605E5A0D138 February 10, 2025 EGE Exterior Wayfinding Signage Design Update Fee Proposal Page 4 Page 4 of 4 • Construction Administration services are not provided, but scope and fees can be provided upon request. • Project tasks are cumulative and may overlap and run in tandem with other tasks to accommodate schedule. • LAI does not practice architecture or engineering, no professional seals are included. • LAI does not provide as-built or shop drawings; all drawings/designs provided are design intent only; no information contained within deliverables are to be used for the purposes of final engineering, fabrication or installation; the fabricator/contractor are responsible for all final design, engineering, fabrication and installation of the completed product, and must be reviewed and approved by the Owner (EGE) prior to final fabrication and installation. • Vehicular signage shall reference/utilize MUTCD and ACRP Report 52 where applicable. • Pedestrian signage shall reference/utilize ADA and ACRP Report 52 where applicable. • LAI works with the Abode Creative Suite and AutoCAD only. • EGE comments/direction shall be provided to LAI in written form from the designated project manager. EGE comments/direction shall be consolidated into one transmittal to LAI and provided within two weeks (ten business days) after the submittal date. Failure to provide comments/direction within this turnaround timeframe will result in increased schedule. • Scope includes only exterior public accessible areas only. Interior facility areas/spaces are not included but could be included for additional fees if desired. • Foreign language translations, if required, are not provided. • The following additional items are not included in the scope: 3D modeling/renderings, BIM, Construction Documents, Permitting, Hard Costs, Bidding and Construction Administration. Any additional scope or secondary direction may result in additional fees. • All live/editable digital project files will be delivered to EGE at the time of overall project completion. • All work shall be provided in “Imperial” scale. • Any regulatory and other code required DOT or traffic control signage not included. SCHEDULE: • Phase 1 – Wayfinding Analysis: 30-day estimate. • Phase 2 – Wayfinding Concepts: 60-day estimate. • Phase 3 – Wayfinding Signage Standards and Guidelines: 90 to 120-day estimate (punch services are TBD if included). - NOTE: EGE review time is not reflected in this schedule and should be added between deliverable phases.
