However, the soil treatment area installed in 2002 does not have sufficient capacity to serve more than a total of4 bedrooms, based on 2002 leach field area calculations. Any future expansion of bedrooms beyond what exists today (according to the Assessor Records 5 bedrooms) will require an alteration OWTS permit. The engineer must certify proper installation of the tanks and that sewer line connections to both structures are done in accordance with Eagle County Public Health Agency OWTS Regulations and are operational prior to the use of the system. The original tank must be abandoned in accordance with 43.9 (C.) of the aforementioned regulations with documentation provided in the final engineer report.
