EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO AND
EAGLE VALLEY CHILD CARE ASSOCIATION
This First Amendment (“First Amendment”) is made and entered into on ____________ between
Eagle County, Colorado by and through its Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter referred
to as “Landlord” or “County”) and the Eagle Valley Child Care Association, a Colorado non-
profit corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Tenant”).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Landlord and Tenant entered into a lease agreement (“Original Lease Agreement”)
dated the 5th of February, 2019 for the ground floor of the Miller Ranch Child Care and
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, by the terms thereof, the term of the Original Lease Agreement was automatically
extended to December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Landlord and Tenant wish to extend the term of the Original Lease Agreement to
continue to December 31, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms and covenants stated herein and as set forth
in the Original Lease Agreement, Landlord and Tenant agree as follows:
FIRST AMENDMENT
1. The term of the Original Lease Agreement is hereby extended to the 31st day of
December, 2025.
2. Capitalized terms in this First Amendment will have the same meanings as in the Original
Lease Agreement. To the extent that the terms and provisions of this First Amendment
conflict with, modify or supplement portions of the Original Lease Agreement, the terms
and provisions contained in this First Amendment shall govern and control the rights and
obligations of the parties.
3. Except as expressly provided in this First Amendment, the Original Lease Agreement is
in full force and effect and unmodified.
