If you are affiliated with a political party that is participating in the Presidential Primary Election, you will receive only that party’s ballot. The last day to change party affiliation and receive that party’s ballot for the Presidential Primary Election is February 12, 2024. If you are registered as unaffiliated, Colorado law allows you to vote in a primary election. You may do one of the following: Remain registered as unaffiliated and receive all participating political party ballots. Vote and return only one ballot. Discard the other. OR Declare an affiliation with a participating political party by February 12th to receive that party’s ballot. Visit www.GoVoteColorado.gov; click on “Find my Registration.” Click on “Edit” to update your party affiliation. Voter registration changes can be made online by visiting www.GoVoteColorado.gov. The last day to register to vote or update your registration to receive a replacement ballot by mail is February 26, 2024. Voters who make changes to their registration after February 26, 2024 must visit a vote center to obtain a ballot. Services available at vote centers include: voter registration (up to and including March 5, 2024), ballot drop off boxes, accessible voting, in-person voting (English or Spanish), and replacement ballots. Sample ballots in English and Spanish are available at https://www.eaglecounty.us/vote. The County Clerk’s Office must receive your ballot by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.
