This being a scheduled Public Hearing, the following items were presented to the Board of County
Commissioners for their consideration:
Constituent Input
Chairman Scherr opened constituent input.
Tim McMahon spoke about the land in Eagle County and the limited amount of land left to build on. He
didn't believe any more second homes were needed as they didn't contribute to the community. Apartments with
rates of$3,000 were also not necessary, nor were condos. What was needed was affordable workforce housing for
the people that make the valley what it is. He asked that the board not approve more projects unless they included
affordable workforce housing.

County's waterways. She also reminded everyone about the County Fair and Rodeo coming up the week of July
22nd.

recognizing the 55th anniversary of the first lunar landing. An astronaut was in the valley talking about what that
experience was like. He was the youngest person to ever walk on the moon. The presentation also highlighted the

the moon.
