HomeMy WebLinkAboutR24-025 Appointments to the Advisory Committee for Land Use Regulation DocuSign Envelope ID:8B6C21BD-31BB-4D3B-A6A6-A941A43B6AD2 Commissioner Chandler-Henry moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION 2024- 025 RESOLUTION CONCERING APPOINTMENTS TO THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE EAGLE COUNTY LAND USE REGULATION REFORM PROJECT WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners ("Board") of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (the "County") desires to establish an Advisory Committee for the Eagle County Land Use Regulation ("ECLUR") Reform Project, which will be comprised of a group of engaged community members, agency partners and stakeholders who will be asked to provide perspective and advice on policy issues and technical aspects of the County's proposed new land use regulations; and WHEREAS, on March 20, 2024, an application for the Advisory Committee was released for a two-week period ending April 4, 2024, and the County received a total of 46 applicants. The applications were reviewed by County staff and the County's consultant for the ECLUR Reform Project, and a recommendation for appointment was provided to the Board; and WHEREAS, at its regular meeting held on April 16, 2024, the Board considered the recommendation for appointment and the 46 applications for the Advisory Committee, and now desires to make appointments to the Advisory Committee for the ECLUR Reform Project; and WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do not constitute a contractual obligation of the County nor of the Board, and the County and Board are not legally bound for the period of appointment or designation as specified herein below, the County, by and through the Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to change, add, or abolish such appointment and designation and to fill vacancies as it sees fit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: DocuSign Envelope ID:8B6C21BD-31BB-4D3B-A6A6-A941A43B6AD2 THAT,the Board hereby appoints and confirms the following persons to serve as members of the Advisory Committee for the ECLUR Reform Project: 1.
