At the request of Mr. Steve Jewett Of Arena Excavating, on August 2, 2002, we visited the
construction site at the Coyote Lodge at Casteel. Creek Ranch, Eagle County, Colorado. The
purPO$e of our site visit was to ,inspect the installation of the septic system.
They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No.
01144C0Y0TE-SD.DWG, dated August 29, 2001, They installed a 1500-gallon, two corapattinetlts,
precast, concrete septic tank. The septic tare had "T's" in both compartments. A cleanout was installed
between the house and the septic tank, as shown on the as -built sketch.
Sixty four, Standard Jnfiltrator Chambers were installed in four trenches with 16 inftlfttors in
each to mch. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution and were 10 feet or more on center. In
the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. The effluent line was 4-inch
SDR 35 PVC,
The location of the septic tank and the location of the line coming into the first row of infiltrators
was different from the original drawing. The attached as -built sketch shows the new location of the tank
and the line corning into tiae first rote of infiltrators.
There is no part of the effluent line crossing under the driveway. The driveway is located to the
north and, west of the new residence -

As requested, Mr. Michael Schneider, had his excavator dig a second Profile Hole. This
profile hole is on the downhill side of the proposed leachfield. It is about 25 feet north from the
last pert hole dug by HP Geotech. The sail profile consisted of:
2 feet of topsozl over
6 feet of brown, sandy clay with angular rock fragments near the bottom of'the .hole.
Ground water or bedrock were not encountered at the time of our site visit, on September
7, 2001.

22988 gallons O 3073 cubic fbet.
The Detentiou Pond can be of any shape_ For a circular shape and 2 feet deep
pond, the required radius is 23 feet. For a square shaped pond, 2 feet deep, the sides will
be 40 by 40 feet,,
The detention pond will have a spillway, where chernicals and minerals can settle down
and the Water car, overflow overland for final-41scixarge.
