BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 93 -1/
APPOINTING SARA J. FISHER
AS
CLERK AND RECORDER
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (hereinafter "the Board "), finds it necessary to appoint a County Clerk and Recorder;
and
WHEREAS, Johnnette Phillips has been elected to the Board of County Commissioners
of Eagle County, State of Colorado and therefore has resigned as Eagle County Clerk and
Recorder; and
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter the
"Board ") pursuant to the provision of Section 30 -10 -404 C.R.S. to appoint a suitable person to
fill the vacancy until a successor is elected according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered the application of a number of qualified persons
to serve as Eagle County Clerk and Recorder; and
WHEREAS, the Board has found Sara J. Fisher to be the applicant most suited to serve
as the County Clerk and Recorder of the County of Eagle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Sara J. Fisher be and is hereby appointed Clerk and Recorder for Eagle County,
State of Colorado until a successor is elected according to law, pursuant to the provision of
Section 1 -12 -105, and Section 30 -10 -104 C.R.S.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary
for the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado; and
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 12th day of January, 1993.
