BOARD OF COUNTY
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 85 - '77
DEPOSIT OF THE PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES
(P.I.L.T.) REVENUES INTO THE COUNTY
GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "),
previously adopted a budget for the 1985 fiscal year which
reflected that the County General Fund would be funded in part by
revenues received subsequent to January 1, 1985, from the federal
government for payment in lieu of taxes (hereinafter "P.I.L.T."),
pursuant to 31 U.S.C. 1601; and
WHEREAS, in order to carry out the foregoing, the Board
desires to direct and authorize the Treasurer of the County of
Eagle to deposit the 1985 P.I.L.T. revenues in the amount of two
hundred eighty -five thousand, nine hundred ninety -eight and
00 /100 dollars ($285,998.00) into the County General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board hereby requests and directs the Trea-
surer of the County of Eagle to deposit 1985 P.I.L.T. revenues
received subsequent to January 1, 1985, in the amount of
$285,998.00 into the County General Fund; said revenues to be
used for those governmental purposes authorized by law.
THAT, the Eagle County Administrative Services Director
is hereby requested and directed to immediately transmit an
original or certified copy of this Resolution to the affected
spending agencies and the officer or employee of the County of
Eagle whose duty it is to draw warrants or orders for the payment
of money.
