EIGHTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO
AND
ALISON CASIAS, ESQ.
SPECIAL COUNTY ATTORNEY
THIS EIGHTH AMENDMENT (“Eighth Amendment”) is effective as of January 1, 2024 by and
between Alison Casias, Esq., a Special County Attorney (hereinafter “Consultant” or
“Contractor”) and Eagle County, Colorado, a body corporate and politic (hereinafter “County”).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, County and Consultant entered into an agreement dated 25th day of October, 2016,
for certain Services (C16-401, the “Original Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the agreement, together with its seven amendments (Eagle County contract
numbers C16-431; C17-408; C18-303; C19-384; C21-247; C22-059; C22-367) will hereinafter
be referred to as the “Agreement;” and
WHEREAS, the County desires to have Consultant perform the Services set forth in the Original
Agreement and its amendments for an additional term at the level of compensation as set forth
below; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement expires on the 31st day of December, 2023, and the
parties desire to extend the term for an additional year.
EIGHTH AMENDMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the mutual rights and obligations as
set forth below, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Agreement shall be amended to extend the term to the 31st day of December,
2024.
2. Contractor shall continue to be entitled to compensation of $6,877.50 per month, for a
total compensation of $82,530 as provided in the Seventh Amendment (C22-367).
3. Capitalized terms in this Eighth Amendment will have the same meaning as in the
Agreement. To the extent that the terms and provisions of the Eighth Amendment
conflict with, modify or supplement portions of the Original Agreement, the terms
and provisions contained in this Eighth Amendment shall govern and control the
rights and obligations of the parties.

4. Except as expressly altered, modified and changed in this Eighth Amendment, all
terms and provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect, and are
hereby ratified and confirmed in all respects as of the date hereof.
5. This Eighth Amendment shall be binding on the parties hereto, their heirs, executors,
successors, and assigns.

Original Agreement and Seventh Amendment the day and year first above written.
