RE: Issuance of Individual Sewage Disposal System Permit No.2042-00. Property
Location: 0318 Kicking Horse Trail, Edwards, CO., Micati residence.
Enclosed is your ISDS Permit No. 2042-00. It is valid for 120 days. The enclosed copy of the
permit must be posted at the installation site. Any changes in plans or specifications
invalidates the permit unless otherwise approved. Please note any special requirements
that may have been added to the design by this department.
Systems designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified by the Engineer
indicating that the system was installed as specified. Eagle County does not perform final
inspections on engineer designed systems. Your TCO will not be issued until our office
receives this certification.
Permit specifications are minimum requirements only, and should be brought to the property
owner's attention.
This permit does not indicate conformance with other Eagle County requirements. Please
notify this office if you have not been contracted to perform this installation.

RE: Inspection of Septic System Installation

At the request of Mike Steimle and. Gary Kendall, with Beck and .Associates, on May 2, July 17,
30, & 31, August 17, ZI, and 28, 2001, we visited the collstrurtlon site ou Lot 4, The Territories at
Cordillera, at 0318 Kicking Horse Trail, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visits was to
observe the installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the
septic. system. dosign, Drawing No. 99179SD.DW(37, dated September 21,, 2000. The system was installed
as shown. on the attached as -built sketch by LSI, the installer. They installed a 1500-gallon, two-
tompartments, a precast, conowrete, septic, talk t)the �lotdi, middle comer of the main residen (zox
the mainhouse) and a 1000-gallon, two -compartments, a precast, concrete septic tank on the north side
of the caretaker cottage and the workshop. The two septic tours are connected to a 1000-gallon single,
auto siphon. Cleanouts were installed between the buildings axed the septic tanks and at angle points as
shown on the attached as -built sketch. The effluent line from the main house to the septic tank was
double encased with a 6-inch diameter, SCH40 PVC with Coulter Coupl1I1g4 and 6x..4 Rubber Casket,
M ce it was tors close to the perimeter drain. All effluent lines were 4"-diameter, SDR35.:PVC'_ The
delivery lire from the siphon was a 4-inch dianvAer, SCHAO PVC connected. to a 3" diameter, central
manifold. Six laterals were constructed, three on each side of the central manifold. The laterals were a 1-
1/2" diameter, perforated at their imierts with 1/4" holes at 30" intervals. The ends of the laterals were
capped. The gravel absorption area was 95 feet by 1.4 feet, The mound perimeter consisted of mortar type
sand with an up slope dimension of 8 feet, 13_ feet on each side of the gravel bed and 52 feet below.
The inspection ports on both sides of the gravel, bed were installed at the time of our last site
visit. The elevation difference from the siphon to the central manifold was reported to be 8 feet (the
min:iinum required was 2.4 feet). They gran a siphon test and reported it to be satisfactory,
