System Revisions Letter dated August 8 20_ 'The systeir was installed as shown on the attached as -built sketch. The infon-nation for the sketch was provided by Vanderwiakex Construction: During our inspections we observed-fbat they had constructed two trenches with 18 infiltrators each, which does not comply with the Eagle County Environmental Health Department Regulations: We made several phone calls to this effect, and wrote a letter on January 3, 2001. We were not contacted to inspect the correction to the leactifield, however, you provided some photographs of the site and Mn Vinderwalk..er drew a sketch of the corrected leachfeld. They installed a I S00-gallon, two compartments,_ a precast, concrete septictank..The tank -was. installed on the west side of the proposed residence about 18 feet west from the northwest corner. The first two, rows had sixteen_ infiltrators each. and.tl-m last onehad. four. The infiltrators were: connected -with - serial distribution. In the last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. Korizontal distance -from. center. to -center of -the trenches, was 10 feet or more. All piping was SDRR35, 4--inch PVC.
