Iuspection of Septic System Installation Lot 8, Creamery Ranch Subdivision 0305 Old Creamery Road Eagle County, Colorado Prgiect No. 99202 - Permit No.1934-99 At the request of Tere Nottingham, on May 22, June 8, and December 8, 2000, we visited the construction site on Lot 8, Creamery Ranch Subdivision, 0305 Old Creamery Road, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visits was to observe the installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system, design, Drawing No. 99202SD.DWG, dated October 18, 1999. They ,installed a 1500-gallon, two compsrtinents, a precast, concrete septic tank. The tank was installed 14 feet west of the west side of the foundation. ,A, cleanout was installed between the house and the septic tank..ht addition, and due to the building sewer being too low, a pump tank was installed west of the septic tank. The pump tank was a 1000-gallon, precast concrete tank. Zoeller "Waste -Mate" Model 264 pump was installed in the pump tank. From the pump tank to the first infiltrator of the leachfxeld was 36 feet. The pump was sized to have 450 gallons per dose. The dosing, the floats function and the alarms were tested by Tore Nottingham. The alatm box was installed in the garage, close to the entry door. Sixty-five, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in Eve trenches. Each row of trenches contained thirteen infiltrators. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution. In. the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. Horizontal, distance from center to center of the trenches, was 10 feet or more. All piping was SDR-35, 4-inch PVC. Excavate three (3) feet wide trenches. The horizontal distance from sidewall to sidewall between the trenches shall be a minimum of six (6) feet. 4. The bottom and the sidewalls of the trenches shall be raked to eliminate smearing. 5. Assemble and install the Infiltrator Chambers in the trenches according to the manufacturers recommendations. 6. Backfill the sidewall area with native on —site soil for proper support. 7. Backfill the trenches with a minimum of 12 inches of tamped soil cover. 8. Avoid vehicle traffic over the system. 9. All installations shall meet the rules and regulations of the Eagle County Environmental Health Division, Chapter 4, Individual Sewage Disposal Systems. 10.
