COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO

APPROVAL OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT - Vail Heli Ski, Inc.
FILE NO: - ZS- 215 -84
WHEREAS, Robert Zeeb did file an
application with the Eagle County Department of Community
Development on or about October 16, 1984 within
the Resource Zone District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board
Of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado, on January 23 , 1985; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony,
exhibits, study of the roaster Plan for the unincorporated
areas of Eagle County, comments of the Eagle County
Department of Community Development, comments of public
officials and agencies, the recommendation of the Eagle
County Planning Commission, and comments from all interested
parties, the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of Eagle, State of Colorado, finds as follows:
1. That proper publication and public notice
was provided as required by law for the hearing before
the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.
2. That the proposed special use conforms to
the requirements of Section 2.09 of the Eagle County Land
Use Regulations.
3. That the proposed land use will be compatible
with existing uses in the area.
4. That for the above - stated and other reasons,
the proposed zoning is in the best interest of the health,
safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare
of the citizens of Eagle County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado:
That the application of Vail Heli Ski, Inc.
File No: ZS- 215 -84 , for approval of a special use
of helicopter landing within the Resource
Zone District in the following described unincorporated
area of Eagle County be approved:
1) Camp Hale, Sec. 9,10,15,22,T5S, R80W
2) Arrowhead at Vail PUD
THAT the following conditions shall be placed
upon this approval and that violation of any condition
shall be the basis for revocation of the permit:
1. A special use permit from the U.S. Forest
Service is required.
2. The Division of Wildlife should have an
opportunity to comment on the Forest Service permit.
3. No flights should go over the Beaver Creek
or Vail Ski Areas.
4. Flights should stay at least 1,000 feet above
the ground except for landings and take -offs.

5. Flight should conform to map as revised and
6. In event flight is outside permit pattern,
the Board of County Commissioners must be notified at
least seven (7) days in advance in writing.
THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs
the Department of Community Development to provide a copy
of this Resolution to the applicant.
MOVED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
