The investigation was made to determine the soil percolation rates and subsoil conditions to design a septic system in compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the Eagle County. The conclusions and recommendations presented are based on the data gathered during the site investigation. PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND SITE CONDITIONS The proposed building is to be a 5 bedroom log home. The site is situated in the southeast section of the lot. The site is on a 4 to 1 slope facing downward to the west and is moderately treed with aspen and sagebrush. SUBSOIL CONDITIONS On May 19,1998 a test pit was excavated in an accessible section of the proposed leech field area. The soils encountered consisted of coarse sand with gravel and clay. The soil percolation rates were found to be acceptable. Sandy soils are present to a depth of nine feet. No signs of high water were encountered during the investigation. DESIGN CONSULTATION This report has been prepared for the exclusive use of providing design criteria for the proposed project in accordance with generally accepted engineering practices. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made. In the event that any changes in the nature or design of this project are planned, the conclusions and recommendations contained in this report shall not be considered valid unless the changes are reviewed and the conclusions of this report modified or verified in writing.
