adoption of the tollowing Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 85- r
LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "),
has been requested by the Colorado Department of Highways,
Division of Highway Safety, to comply with State law, and more
specifically Section 43 -4 -401, et s__e�., C.R.S., by adopting a
Resolution for the establishment an—cl- funding of a Law
Enforcement Assistance Fund (LEAF) project for the prevention
of drunken driving within Eagle County; and
WHEREAS, a certain contract between the Colorado
Department of Highways, Division of Highway Safety, the Eagle
County Board of County Commissioners, the Eagle County
Sheriff's Department, the Eagle Police Department, the Vail
Police Department and the Minturn Police Department has been
prepared to provide $30,000.00 in State funding and $15,800.00
in local agencies' costs; and
WHEREAS, a Resolution of the Board formally approving
that certain contract and authorizing the Chairman's signature
to indicate such approval is required by the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
has reviewed the subject contract, agreed to be bound by its
terms, and authorized the Chairman to sign.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, St aye of Colorado, at its
