The sand was from United Gravel Pit, was less than 30-days old, and it passed the classification for a secondary sand. The pressure dosing system consisted of four, 59-feet long, 1.25- inch diameter sch40 pvc, distribution laterals, perforated at their inverts with 1/8-inch holes at 4-foot intervals, arranged on the gravel bed with two laterals on each side of a center manifold. The center manifold was 3.25 feet, 1.5-inch, sch40 pvc. The ends of the laterals were equipped with flushing assemblies. A squirt test was performed during the inspection. Two inspection ports were installed, one on each side of the distribution cell, at about the middle between the laterals. Box 3388 Eagle, CO 81631 Alicia@sstaia.com RE: Inspection of Septic System Installation Guy 5-Bedroom Residence Lot 5, Block 3, Cordillera Filing No. 34 160 Pikes Way Eagle County, Colorado Project No. 19-3326– OWTS-020316-2020 Dear Alicia: At the request of the installer, Abraham with Vailterra Construction, on November 13, 2020, June 21, and on July 16, 2021, we visited Guy Residence on Lot 5, Block 3, Cordillera Filing No. 34, 160 Pikes Way, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visits was to inspect the installation of the OWTS – consisting of pressure-dosed, mound system. The system was installed in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 19-3326OWTS-MND.dwg, last updated on January 20, 2020. At the time of the inspection, we observed the following: They installed 1500-gallons, three-compartments, Concrete Septic Tank by Valley Precast with an effluent filter (the handle was extended to within 6 inches of the riser cover) in the second compartment and with an Orenco PF500511 high-head pump assembly in the third compartment. The inlet of the tank had the Tee installed. The tank access ports had corrugated, plastic risers with secured, green, plastic covers. The covers were insulated and will be secured with nuts, bolts and screws. All compartments had 24 inches risers. The building sewer line was connected to the back of the residence, at the bay window, as shown on the attached as-built sketch. A double cleanout was constructed on the building sewer line about 2.2 feet away from the house. The building sewer line was 4-inch diameter SDR35 PVC pipe. The effluent line from the pump chamber to the center manifold of the mound system, was about 80 feet, 1.5-inch diameter, SCH40 PVC pipe. The soil treatment area consisted of a mound system, consisting of a sand fill with a gravel distribution cell. The sand was from United Gravel Pit, was less than 30-days old, and it passed the classification for a secondary sand. He is waiting for Valley Precast to do the final start up and will then submit the start-up memo to the ECEHD and to the engineer. The control panel for the pump was attached to the foundation wall on the back of the residence, as shown on the as- built sketch. There is no other warranty either expressed or implied.
